Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 18, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of www.goodluckmoors.com, including its content, online shop, and related services (collectively, the “Website”). The Website is operated by Goodluck Moors. By accessing the Website, creating an account, subscribing, or placing an order, a visitor agrees to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. Anyone who does not agree should not use the Website.
1. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
A user must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in the user’s location, to make a purchase. A minor may use the Website only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Users agree to provide accurate information and to use the Website only for lawful purposes.
Users may not interfere with Website security or operation; introduce malware or harmful code; attempt unauthorized access; scrape, copy, or harvest Website content or personal information through automated means without written permission; impersonate another person; use the Website to violate another person’s rights; or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
2. Accounts and Communications
If account functionality is offered, the account holder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for activity performed through the account. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly. By providing contact information, a user agrees that we may send transactional communications related to orders, accounts, or requests. Marketing communications are subject to the choices described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Products, Descriptions, and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colors, images, dimensions, and availability accurately. Screen settings, manufacturing variations, and product updates may cause minor differences. We may correct errors, update information, limit quantities, discontinue products, or cancel an order affected by inaccurate information or unavailability. If we cancel a paid order, the amount paid for the canceled item will be refunded.
Books and products offered through Amazon or another third-party retailer are sold and fulfilled by that retailer unless expressly stated otherwise. The retailer’s prices, payment terms, shipping rules, return policy, and customer-service procedures apply to those purchases.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
Prices are shown in the currency stated on the Website and may change without notice. Applicable taxes, shipping costs, and other charges will be displayed before an order is submitted when required. Placing an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgment does not guarantee acceptance; an order is accepted when payment is approved and the order is confirmed for fulfillment.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. The customer represents that the customer is authorized to use the selected payment method and authorizes the applicable charges. We may refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, payment failure, product limitations, or violation of these Terms.
5. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds
Direct Website orders are subject to the Shipping & Returns Policy posted on the Website, which is incorporated into these Terms. Purchases completed through Amazon or another retailer must be returned through that retailer under its applicable policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The Website and its original content—including text, book descriptions, graphics, logos, photographs, artwork, videos, designs, downloads, and the selection and arrangement of materials—are owned by or licensed to Goodluck Moors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. “Goodluck Moors,” “Anchor Within Press,” “Anchor Within Collection,” associated logos, book titles used as source identifiers, and other brand elements may not be used in a manner likely to cause confusion or imply endorsement without written permission.
Visitors may access and print limited Website content for personal, noncommercial use. No content may be reproduced, republished, sold, modified, distributed, publicly displayed, used to train an artificial-intelligence system, or exploited commercially without prior written permission, except as allowed by applicable law.
7. Reviews, Messages, and Other Submissions
If the Website permits reviews, comments, or other submissions, the contributor retains ownership of original content but grants us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that content for operating, promoting, and improving the Website and products. The contributor represents that the submission is lawful, truthful, does not infringe another person’s rights, and does not contain confidential information, malware, harassment, or unlawful material. We may remove submissions at our discretion where permitted by law.
8. Educational Content; No Professional Advice
Books, articles, videos, newsletters, reflections, and other Website content are provided for general informational, educational, and inspirational purposes. They do not constitute medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice and are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or services from a qualified professional. No professional, therapeutic, fiduciary, or healthcare-provider relationship is created through use of the Website or its content. Anyone facing an emergency should contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, products, services, policies, or transactions. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement. Use of a third-party service is at the visitor’s discretion and subject to that third party’s terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Website will always be secure, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodluck Moors and any affiliated service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the Website, even if advised that such damages may occur. For claims arising from a direct Website purchase, total liability will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the product giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Goodluck Moors and applicable service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from the user’s unlawful use of the Website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Website when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users, or our legal rights, or when a user violates these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law—will remain in effect.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Subject to any non-waivable right to bring a claim in another forum, disputes relating to these Terms or the Website will be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and the parties consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.
15. Changes; Severability; Entire Agreement
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes, except where additional consent is required by law. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the Website.
